The facility hosts an extensive amount of social, competitive and instructional play for all levels and ages. We are proud of our strong tennis program with friendly and welcoming members who participate in team and social play, with a full calendar of competitive and fun events.
We host more than 15 teams each year in the local Lee County, USTA and local Country Club leagues for daytime and working women and men of all levels.

Leagues, Socials and Instruction

Local Leagues - October – March
- Lee County Women’s Team – on average 8 teams
- Men’s 50+ and 70+ local leagues

USTA Leagues – Year round
Common teams are Men’s and Women’s 3.5 and 4.0 and depending on the time of the year, men’s and women’s 7.5 combo and mixed doubles 7.0.
Ultimate Tennis Flex League - Singles League Very Flexible Easy Play Format
Are you busy with work, traveling or family commitments but still want to play league tennis? Many of our members play on a Flex-League, in which you get to set your own schedule of matches, giving you the flexibility to work the league around your personal schedule.
Social events are scheduled on average once a month for the calendar year.
Some additional activities include trips to the Miami Open and US Open (New York) as well as supporting the Madisen’s Match Tennis Benefit Event.
We host regular weekly clinics for adults and junior to help players improve their skills and knowledge of singles and doubles play. Clinic are focused on a combination of technical, tactical and strategic elements of the game.
Additionally, we host weekly sessions of Cardio Tennis. Available for players of all skill levels, cardio tennis is a fun group activity that features drills and games to give players an ultimate, high-energy workout. This hour-long session guarantees improvement in endurance for players of all ages.
Tennis OverviewOur staff of USPTA and PTR tennis professionals are available for group and private lessons, and two ball machines are available for rent to help with solo practices or fitness routines. You may use your phone to control one of the machines saving you time from walking across the net to change the settings for a desired drill.
Members have the ability to schedule court reservations online 7 days in advance. We offer clinics, small group, and private instruction to players who have a desire to improve their game.
Our Tennis Shop and Lounge offers you a place to shop for all of your immediate tennis needs as well as a comfortable gathering atmosphere to enjoy the complimentary coffee or Gatorade. We offer racquet sales and stringing and other tennis equipment. We also have Master Racquet Technician Stringer on staff.
Our competitive Junior Program is amongst the strongest programs in the area, with several kids ranked in the top 100 in Florida. Our new program for development levels is strong and getting very good feedback. Our after-school program is offered weekly throughout the school year and supplemented with daily training all summer long.

Alex is a member of the Head/Penn advisory staff. In 2011, Alex co-authored and published Sportsmetrics Tennis. Sportsmetrics Tennis is a 6-week neuromuscular training program for competitive junior tennis players. It offers an unique blend of sport-specific enhancement tasks to both improve player skill and aerobic fitness, and decrease the risk of a knee injury by improving dynamic balance. Additional certifications include Cardio Tennis Instructor, Strength, Conditioning and Movement in Sport – Elite Level by Pat Etcheberry, Mental Toughness Coaching Course at Human Performance Institute and RacquetFit.
When he is not on the courts, Alex enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Erica. He also enjoys teaching scuba diving and taking underwater pictures.

USPTA Elite Professional, Master Racquet Technician, Head Tennis Professional
Terry See has been happily devoted to the tennis industry for more than 40 years. Terry is an active and well known teaching professional in Southwest Florida. Terry began his teaching career in 1972 at Rec Tennis with Tom Chivington and Dick Gould in the San Francisco Bay area. Terry both embraces and shares the joy of the game. “I enjoy the energy I get from teaching, and one of my strengths is imparting energy, enthusiasm and fun into the game."
When he is not on the courts, Terry enjoys archery, fishing, camping, playing the banjo and the company of his wife, Theresa and their dogs.
